The Business Analyst has primary responsibility for generating
and maintaining a steadily increasing revenue stream through
the performance of self-directed, aggressive lead generation
activities, outbound sales and customer service activities.
Major focus is placed on proactive prospecting in non-traditional
market segments that will result in a continuous pipeline of
new customers. While corporate telemarketing efforts generally
result in 25% of the outside sales appointments that generate
new business, Business Analysts are responsible for generating
adequate leads in order to consistently achieve or exceed assigned
revenue goals.
Primary emphasis is placed on lead generation and new account
development activities, including market research, outbound
dials, identifying additional prospects within an account, participation
in professional associations, and a broad range of detail-oriented
activities. This includes proposing a prompt and thorough solution
to qualified prospects, appointment preparation activities,
meeting deadlines, closing new contracts promptly, and timely
completion of required paperwork and reports.
Business Analysts are responsible for promoting an on-going
service relationship with new and existing customers and assuring
total customer satisfaction. Account management entails generating
orders for on-site service, initiating scheduling requests,
contacting the customer to confirm service appointments and
acting as a liaison between the customer and the primary computer
consultant when problems or emergencies arise.
Critical support activities include pricing and proposal preparation;
performing follow-up, responding with a sense of urgency and
facilitating prompt problem resolution. Related administrative
tasks include database maintenance, correspondence and documentation
